Remove Aluminum Housing Lid

Disconnect Coolant Hoses & Remove Coupling

Disconnect Purge Air & Cover

Remove Reader Head Drum

Loosen M6 & M5 Screws - Remove Coolant Pipe

Dismount Balance Head

Remove M6 Screws From B-Spindle

Dismount B-Spindle

Clean B-Spindle Contact Area

Install B-Spindle

Install M6 & M5 Screws on B-Spindle

Check Radial & Axial Runout On Spindle Nose

Install Balance Head



Step 14 of 24

Check Gap Between Balance Head & Microphone

Check Axial Runout on Adapter Flange

Check Radial Runout on Adapter Flange

Install Encoder Head Drum

Install Reading Head & Test

Install Encoder Lid & Check Gap

Connect Rotary Sensor Cable & Purge Air Hose

Connect Rotary Hose & Coolant Hoses

Install Housing Cover

Execute PCU Service Mode
